III. What data we collect
Cookies
When you use our website, information is collected from your browser and stored, including through cookies. Cookies are data files, particularly text files, stored on a website user’s device to enable use of the website. They usually contain the name of the website they come from, the period for which they are stored on the device, and a unique number.
We use the following cookies:
- Session cookies: these remain on your device until your browser session ends. The stored information is then permanently removed from the device’s memory. The session-cookie mechanism does not retrieve personal data or confidential information from your device.
- Necessary cookies: these enable you to use services available on our website. They include authentication cookies for services requiring authentication and security cookies used, for example, to detect authentication abuse. These cookies provide the website’s basic functionality and remain enabled because they are necessary to use its services.
With your consent, we also use Google Analytics 4 analytical cookies, described below. We do not use this configuration for personalised advertising or advertising profiling.
IV. Why we collect your data
Necessary cookies support the website’s operation and security and remember your consent choices. Analytical cookies help us measure visits and use of the website and assess interest in our services. Analytics runs only after you consent to the Analytics category.
Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), loaded through Google Tag Manager (GTM). These Google tools help us compile statistics on visits, traffic sources, page views, scrolling, link clicks, document downloads, successful form submissions and clicks on contact details. The data includes an identifier stored in an analytical cookie and information about your browser, device and use of the website.
GA4 and the GTM container are not loaded before you consent to the Analytics category or if you refuse consent. Your consent is the legal basis for processing analytical data. Advertising consent remains disabled. We do not send form contents, names, email addresses or telephone numbers entered in forms to GA4; we record only an event indicating a successful submission.
Google processes analytical data to provide its service. Processing may involve transfers outside the European Economic Area under the arrangements described by Google. For details, see how Google processes data from websites that use its services and Google’s data processing terms.
You can change your choice using the Cookie settings button on the website. When you withdraw consent, analytics is disabled and its cookies are removed from this domain.
V. How long data is stored
The storage period depends on the cookie. Session cookies expire when the session ends. The cookieyes-consent cookie remembers your consent choice for up to one year. The analytical cookies _ga and _ga_0VRJ0XXJYW have a default lifetime of up to two years from the last visit. Your browser may shorten these periods. Details are available in the cookie settings.
We retain user and event data used for detailed Google Analytics analysis for two months, without automatically extending that period when further activity occurs. Aggregated reports may be retained for longer.
VI. Your rights
You can refuse analytics consent or withdraw it at any time using the Cookie settings button. Refusing or withdrawing consent does not restrict basic use of the website. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn. For matters concerning your data, contact the controller at biuro@wcwi.com.pl.
VII. Contact
